I was going to come home after work and write something thought provoking that would get a million notes… instead, I ate some food and sat here wondering why I was still awake!
As a result, here is an old image of some Street Fighter characters, some old pencil work I guess, at least it gives you something to look at tonight!

Felt like drawing and seeing how fast I could draw myself. Turns out, I can do it in under 5 minutes (even if I’m not 100% happy with the result)!

I then decided to practice drawing my hand… and then swiftly remembered how much I hate drawing hands. I’m not too unhappy with them (except the fist) but, I do think I messed up a little on the first one :( However, it took me around 40 minutes to draw three hands which, if you think it only took less than 5 to draw myself, is crazy slow!

I also think I have weird looking hands now :|

Just a scribble from a while back…

Just a scribble from a while back…

My newest piece! It’s not titled and I’ll also be the first to admit that I had trouble with the hair but, this is the final product :)

Oh look, what I used to do instead of working!

“Dragon Boy”
Pencils - Justin “Shay” Stevenson Inks - Me Colours - Me
I’ve not uploaded any of my old stuff for a while so, here’s something I did with Shay back in 2003. It was one of few attempts at colouring… as it took me forever and a day to finish, I decided I’d stick to inks :P
I’ve still got the original inks somewhere…
Either way, this bring back memories of when I was working with unknowns back in the day and now they’re all off with successful careers in comic books.
Some of them actually wanted to take me along for the ride as an inker too! However, I’d been burned too many times before and had just landed a full time job so, focused on what I had instead of what I MIGHT have… I should have taken the leap :(

- My “Beautiful” Girlfriend -
I done this in 15 minutes, photoshop & wacom - Image sourced from a crappy resolution Facebook picture of my beautiful girlfriend, Haley xx
No-one came to draw with me online so, I closed the room and doodled this from one of my favourite profile pictures of my girlfriend. Oh, she had cherry tomatoes in her cheeks if you were wondering, she doesn’t naturally look like this :P

I might as well get in to the spirit of things for this coming Friday :D
(About 3 minutes, drawn directly in to Photoshop using a Wacom Intuos 2)

Worked a lot with Justin on many things like “Howling of the Jin” and “Aeon”. For the love of god, I can’t remember this character’s name but, I do remember that he was a sorcerer and his scarf was enchanted.

Self portrait as my alter ego and reluctant hero. A character I’ve had since I was 18 and one who has never seen the light of day *sigh*

I got this piece as a commission from a guy who went by the name of Toast on Ledheavy forums. I just checked and it’s no longer active, which is a shame as I used to get a lot of “work” from there from artists who liked my inks!

I really like this picture even though (looking back) my inks were really scrappy!
My friend, FCO Plascencia, was kind enough to allow me to ink a few pieces of his as I practised and guided me along the way. I’ll probably post a few more in the coming days just to spur me into finishing so many projects I never got round to completing!
(NB: I’ve taken my original signature of off this and replaced it with my current -B- stamp of contentment. Orginal can be viewed here and here.)
EDIT: Seems all of his art work has vanished from Deviantart :(

The Product of boredom!
My current Knight’s sallet. Done in photoshop using nothing but paths and it took me just under 2 hours.
Hey, I don’t use paths ok, this is actually only my second time drawing with them!
It’ll do… I might actually make it into a t-shirt!
